For All Courses
Booking
Payment for courses is made via the website booking form OR through BACS transfer.
No booking can be confirmed until full payment has been received.
Cancellation/Changes by Us
We reserve the right to cancel a course or part of a course at any time and for any reason in which event we will attempt to reschedule to a time that is convenient to you or will provide you a full refund of the course fee. Compensation over and above a refund of the course fee will not be payable under any circumstances and we shall not be liable for any consequential losses.
It may also be necessary, for reasons beyond our control, to change the timing of the course, the date, the venue or the tutor.
Cancellation by You
If you wish to cancel or postpone attendance to a course you must notify us in writing.
The following cancellation charges will apply:
More than 2 week’s notice: cancellation, postponement or rescheduling is free of charge.
Less than 2 week’s notice: The full cost of the course will be charged.
Late Arrivals, Early Departures or Absence
The course outlines displayed on our website are for guidance and whilst our trainers will do their best to follow the outline, they may exercise flexibility in the classroom to allow them to accommodate the group’s requirements.
There will be no refund of fees for students who arrive late, leave early or miss a day of training (whether on account of illness or for any other reason) and failure to attend will be treated as a late cancellation, for which no refund will be made.
Publicity
You acknowledge our right, for publicity purposes and without prior notification or consent, to use any photograph or video recording made of course participants and/or any statement (whether written or oral) given by them.
Liability
Except where death or personal injury is caused by our negligence or that of one of our employees or agents we do not accept liability arising from any representation (unless such representation was fraudulently made) or any implied warranty or condition or common law duty or under the terms and conditions of this agreement for any loss of profit or any consequential losses, or other claims arising out of or in connection with the provision of our services or their use and, as aforementioned, the maximum sum of our liability arising from this agreement will not exceed the amount of the course fees.
First Aid
Permission is given to administer medication or first aid if required.
Valuables
We will not be liable for the loss of or damage to any item of jewellery or other valuables brought to the course nor for any property left at the location and may dispose of any such property, if not claimed and collected, within seven days of the conclusion of the course.
Additional Terms and Conditions for Children & Teenagers
Medical and Behavioural
Any known medical or behavioural problems and any medical, behavioural/social issues in the child’s history must be notified to us in writing in the Booking Form and we reserve the right not to accept a booking on the grounds that any issues so disclosed are not compatible with ability of the child or other children to participate in the course.
Any food allergies or intolerances and any allergies to any medications must also be notified in writing in the Booking Form.
Notifications
Following registration, a “Student Form” dealing with formal information such as pickup arrangements, student and parent/guardian details, contact numbers etc will be supplied. This form must be completed or the required information provided by email before the commencement of the course.
Security
All trainers providing children and teenager courses have had the enhanced DBS check.
Suspension and Expulsion
We reserve the right to suspend or remove any child whose attendance, work or behaviour is, in our reasonable opinion, not of a satisfactory standard. Under such circumstances, we will not be liable for the return of any fees.
Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
